I currently have four novels on-line involving a covert action agency known as The Org:

"The Supplicant" - the Org attempt to penetrate a Jihadist group in the years just prior to the 9/11 attacks on the United States.

"Sicario" - the Org is involved in the 1993 hunt for Pablo Escobar in Colombia.

"Surrogate" - the Org recruits a former MACV-SOG soldier (now an undercover Pittsburgh narc) to penetrate an narco-terrorist network in Haiti.

"Succubus" - following the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the Org is tasked to bring a nuclear research scientist out of North Korea.

Coming up:

"Sorcerer" - following an attack, the Org goes toe to toe with the Iranian intelligence service.

"Black Entry" - an historically based fictional recounting of the CIA's efforts to penetrate North Vietnam circa 1962-63.


I am a Pittsburgh native and former U.S. Army officer.  I am now a retired Special Agent of the U.S. State Department's Diplomatic Security Service (DSS). Along with my assignments in Miami, Washington, El Salvador, South Africa and China, I was the chief of the DSS Counterintelligence Division.

I am currently a contractor in the DSS Office of Counterintelligence.
